Contingent Liability

Contingent Liability coverage protects motor carriers in the event that an owner-operator seeks legal employee status. This coverage provides defense for the named motor carrier. Additionally, if an owner-operator is deemed to be an employee, Contingent Liability is there to cover losses from on-the-job injuries in specified amounts or amounts equivalent to statutory Workers Compensation.
